About

Abigail was drawn to a career in nutrition, in part, for its fundamental and universal application. Everybody eats. Everybody is exposed to an endless barrage of nutrition information. Abigail’s mission is clear: To help people use nutrition knowledge, both gently and in perspective, to their advantage -- not as a source of harm.

Abigail's experience includes a one-year clinical & research fellowship (Boston Children's Hospital/Harvard Medical School) emphasizing a multidisciplinary treatment approach to eating disorders and disordered eating in young adults. Abigail has worked at the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care at The Renfrew Center for Eating Disorders and Monte Nido Eating Disorder Center Boston. At its founding, she was the first clinician hired at Counseling and Nutrition Center 360, LLC, a collaborative group practice based in Lexington, MA.

As a side passion, Abigail has also conducted research studies and wrote an original manuscript in Ellen Langer's Mindfulness Lab at Harvard. This experience deepened her understanding of Langer's sociocognitive mindfulness* which, in turn, has profoundly impacted Abigail's counseling style.

Abigail holds a Master's degree in Nutrition Science from Boston University, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from SUNY Geneseo, and completed her clinical internship at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, MA. She is also a 200-hr Yoga Alliance certified Yoga Instructor.
